I love fresh fruits and vegetables, I really do. And I would love to be able to walk out into my own garden and pick them. The trouble is, putting in all of the work to plant them, water them, maintain them and otherwise make them grow.
So over the last few weeks I've set myself a set of small goals. First, I've been watering the one of the two remaining live fruit trees in my yard once a week. ( I picked the easy one that is right outside my kitchen window!). Second, I pulled the weeds out from around the tree tonight. I still have to clear out some of the roots, but the worst is gone.
Next will be to tackle my planter in the front yard, watering and ridding it of weeds (that should take up the next couple of months, at least! And with the summer heat starting early, it leaves only early in the morning, which I don't do, or evening when the sun is starting to go down.)
I figure I'll set myself baby steps and if I can successfully maintain everything by summer's end, I'll allow myself to plant one or two fall crops. Slowly but surely, I may yet have that garden, if I can keep up what I have with any consistency. I'm also hoping that getting out and putting my hands in the dirt will prove to be grounding and will keep me working on my writing projects more consistently as well. If nothing else, I worked up a good sweat and raised my heart rate while pulling the weeds.
As time goes on, I'll post some pictures of my progress. Although it's too late to post "before" pictures of the plum tree, those for the planters will be here shortly. Any suggestions for more easily removing what is essentially crab grass from my planters will be greatly appreciated! Eventually, I may even get the brown mess where a lawn should be into the lush greenness currently enjoyed only around the plum tree which has been getting regular waterings.
Stay tuned for what is likely to be a comedy of errors from one who possesses a very black thumb! (must be all of those mud pies I made as a child!)
My gratitudes tonight are:
1. I am grateful for baby steps.
2. I am grateful for checking things off of my To Do list.
3. I am grateful for the abundance in my life which allows me to help others the way I like to.
4. I am grateful for the progress I'm making on my book.
5. I am grateful for the new projects which keep coming into my brain.
6. (Bonus gratitude tonight) I am grateful for my vivid and crazy dreams which will provide plenty of ideas for future books.

Welcome to my Journey
Hello, and welcome to my Journey. Over the last few years I have been learning more about my personal journey, my Path and my Soul Purpose. The further I travel, the easier I find it to share my journey with others, and to learn from their journeys as well. The most recent evolution has caused me to expand my Universe and allow more people access to my travels, as well as allowing me access to more people, their travels and what they have learned as they walk their own paths. Feel free to share your journey here as we all have much to learn in our lives as Divine Beings having a Human experience.
