The question is a two-parter, so here's part one:
Who do you go to for relationship or dating advice (and I think even the married or attached folks could answer this one, as, from my experience, we all have questions now and then!).
A. Someone who is in a happy relationship.
B. Someone who is a serial dater
C. One of your closest friends
D. Someone who hasn't dated or been in a relationship in a decade or more.
E. A stranger
Part 2. When you go to someone for advice or just as a sounding board, do you typically:
A. Talk to someone of your same gender
B. Talk to someone of the opposite gender from you.
A number of things have prompted these questions, and over the next couple of posts, depending on how many responses I get, I hope to discuss my observations on interpersonal interactions in the 21st century from my, admittedly, limited vantage point. Of course, if feedback is good, the perspective may be broader and, perhaps, more useful to others.
I know this topic may seem random to my regular readers, but as I am not known for limiting myself to either a single topic or even related topics within one blog post, it should come as no surprise that I pull something which is seemingly completely off the wall from my normal offerings.
