Welcome to my Journey

Hello, and welcome to my Journey. Over the last few years I have been learning more about my personal journey, my Path and my Soul Purpose. The further I travel, the easier I find it to share my journey with others, and to learn from their journeys as well. The most recent evolution has caused me to expand my Universe and allow more people access to my travels, as well as allowing me access to more people, their travels and what they have learned as they walk their own paths. Feel free to share your journey here as we all have much to learn in our lives as Divine Beings having a Human experience.

Love and Light.

July 8, 2013 Stopping the irritation train

Tonight I found myself, yet again, trying to get my AT & T Uverse to work properly.  This, after waiting at home most of Saturday for an appointment that was supposed to be between 12 and 4, but ended up being closer to 4:30!  The tech replaced my old modem, did a couple of checks, fixed some settings on my TV and pronounced it fixed.  Yet this morning, I noticed that the broadband light was again flashing red instead of being a solid green, and upon arriving home, it was still misbehaving.  I logged into the support site, got an ominous message telling me that something needed to be fixed and directing me to log into their chat.

What a colossal waste of time!  Once again, I was connected to someone in India who could do little more than apologize for the fact that I was having trouble.  I really wanted to type "stuff the apologies and just fix the damn problem," but previous experience had taught me that these automatons who man the chat screens can only respond to certain commands, much like Siri on my iPhone, with a lot less intelligence!

I was finally forced to just give up and wait for yet another tech to come out and try to fix the problem on Wednesday.

Meanwhile, as I was cleaning out sandboxes, I found my mind wandering down that dangerous road where it started dredging up past irritants and trying to roll around in all of the irritation.

"Oh no!!!"  I thought.  "That is so not happening!!!  You can leave those old irritations right where they belong...in the deep, dark past!  It's time to focus our thoughts on much more pleasant matters."

Not the easiest thing to do when you're scrubbing out cat sand boxes and hauling trash, On the other hand, you do have a very suitable place to put those irritating thoughts!  They definitely belong with the old melon rinds, empty cat food cans and soiled cat sand!  In fact, I can't think of a better place to put them!

I'll definitely have to remember this the next time my thoughts turn dark and twisty.  I'll just conjure up an image of a trash can full of yuk and send them into the depths of the nastiness where they belong!

Meanwhile, my poor cat with the malformed kidneys has yet another trial to bear as the blood tests on Sunday showed little change to the kidney function, but a massive bladder infection, which probably accounts for her lack of appetite.  So we had to add yet another medication to her daily routine, which I know thrills her to pieces.  At least this one, though, has a clear beginning and a clear end, unlike the rest of the stuff we give her which looks to be in for the long haul.  I am just very grateful that we can somewhat manage her impaired health so she can continue to demand attention and remind me of the level of neglect she is forced to suffer at my less-than-efficient hands!

But I've left it all to too late, and am fading now, so this really will be one of my shorter posts!

My gratitudes tonight are:
1. I am grateful that there are things I can do to make my little Loki's life better and to keep her around for awhile to nag me!
2. I am grateful for work days that go quickly and include a lot of productiveness.
3. I am grateful for little reminders when I'm complaining too much and being grateful too little.
4. I am grateful for a busy work load that makes the work time flow quickly into the play time.
5. I am grateful for abundant health, joy, opportunities and prosperity.

Love and life.
